Following the vision of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, our team has focused on the children. As Indian Army is protecting our nation, we being the “Indian Computer Science Warriors(ICSW)” as a team, would like to protect our children who are the future of our nation

What Bought The Necessity?

Now a days children are attending the classes off-line and on-line at regular intervals. Children are using either smart phones or computers to attend the classes for which internet facility has become mandatory.

The Internet offers young people amazing opportunities to connect and learn. But it can also expose them to content that is age and developmentally unsuitable. Content on the internet is not sorted into age or appropriate areas and without supervision and guidance, a child can either unintentionally or purposely find the content that is sexually explicit, extremely violent, or inappropriate.

We know that exposure to this type of content can also be psychologically damaging. Despite many of our popular beliefs, the internet is not a safe place for our children to be roaming around.

It is becoming increasingly important for parents to know the facts about how many teens watch porn as well as how to approach this topic with them.

Primary ways of accessing Bad Content

Number 1: Smartphones are how many — if not most — teens watch porn

Number 2: A child’s first exposure to porn is usually accidental and unknown.

Number 3: Family members or a child’s friends are a common way that kids find porn.

Neuroplasticity

In order to better explain porn’s effects on children, I want to briefly touch on a concept called neuroplasticity.

Neuroplasticity is the process by which your brain creates new neural networks by constantly reorganizing itself.

Basically, this means that your brain is constantly optimizing itself to perform efficiently despite any loss to brain function due to age, injury, etc.

This also means that our children’s brains are literally being shaped by their experiences.

As most of us know, those experiences will determine much of their character throughout their lives

For children in general, there is a strong indication that the exposure to pornography results in hyper-sexual view of the world.
